My First Week at a New Job
Un diario práctico para el trabajo sobre nombres nuevos, una contraseña olvidada y el alivio de haber llegado al viernes.
My First Week at a New Job diary example
Friday evening
I finished my first week at the design office. On Monday, I arrived twenty minutes early because I was worried about being late. The office was almost empty. A woman named Priya showed me the kitchen and helped me find my desk.
There were many new names to remember. I wrote them in the back of my notebook. On Wednesday, I forgot the password for our shared computer and had to ask for help twice. I felt embarrassed, but nobody seemed annoyed. My manager said everyone needs time to learn the system.
Today I made a small graphic for the company newsletter. Priya noticed it and said the colors looked good. That one comment changed my whole afternoon. I am tired now, but I am not as nervous as I was on Monday. Next week, I want to ask more questions instead of pretending that I understand everything.
