A Rainy Day at Home

It rained all day. The sky was gray, and the street was very quiet. I wanted to go to the park, but I stayed home.

In the morning, I cleaned my room. Then I called my sister. We talked for twenty minutes. She could hear the rain through my window.

After lunch, I made tomato soup and read a funny book on the sofa. The soup was hot, and the rain was loud. I felt warm and safe inside. It was not an exciting day, but it was a good day.
